Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is suitable for Beginners. It is about stillness. In Yin, we access the dense connective tissues of the body: fascia, tendons, ligaments, joints, as well as the organs. We hold each pose/shape for longer than a 'yang'/dynamic style class and support the body with props to allow the muscles to relax. Yin yoga unlocks the body deeply, calms the nervous system (similar to an acupuncture session) and teaches us to be ok with a little discomfort and plenty of rest. It allows deep healing and relaxation.
